Thirteen Stripes, 50 Stars

Where does the Thirteen50 name derive from?  Well when the initial brainstorming began for our company name, we were set in search for much more than just a name.  Our name needed to reflect our whole company vision.  A few powerful characteristics stuck out to the team in which we felt we needed to be built around;  quality, loyalty, and integrity.  Oh and don't forget, all of our materials and the entire production process needed to be sourced 100% from the United States.  Needless to say, this was a daunting task to say the least.

After months of kicking around ideas we finally agreed on Thirteen50 Leather.  Everything this great nation stands for is exactly what our business was going to stand for so it was a no-brainer to sister the two.  The iconic American flag that we all cross daily has thirteen stripes that represent the thirteen British Colonies that declared independence and became the first states in the Union, and the 50 stars on the flag represent the 50 states of the United States.  Together the greatest nation in the world was formed and powered by quality, loyalty, and integrity.  From a company who stands by their word, we don't just throw these words around lightly.  We are going to gain customer loyalty one quality product at a time, all the while maintaining the highest level of integrity just like our ancestors did.

We feel somewhere along the lines our great nation has veered off track and businesses are fueled for all the wrong reasons.  Outsourcing jobs over-seas and importing cheaper materials just to save a buck, and in the meantime quality is suffering.  Here at Thirteen50 Leather, we are just trying to play our small role in rebuilding this great nation to where it used to be by being driven for all the right reasons.  So we want to take a page out of our ancestors book and build quality products that are built to last, right here in the land of the free.

Cheers to quality!
